This is more than just a job to me, it is an opportunity of a lifetime. As soon as you walk in the door, you can truly sense how we are a school family by the warm and inviting environment. My passion has always been working with children, being a stepping stone in their educational journey, supporting them in expressing themselves creatively, and assisting them in finding their voices. I am very grateful for the chance to work with our Shining Stars. Watching the children’s growth and excitement about education is truly a gift!

When I walked into Mainspring for the first time, I was overwhelmed by the sense of community that I felt. I love working with kiddos because they are constantly curious about life and the world around them. Each day I am able to learn and grow alongside my children. Their silly stories and belly laughs help fill the Mockingbird classroom with so much love and joy.

Working with children has always been a passion of mine, so when I was offered the opportunity to work with a diverse and loving community, I took it without hesitation. After working with children in various school settings, I feel very fortunate to be part of a school that fosters children’s curiosity and creativity. Mainspring allows me to be part of a school that focuses on providing a holistic learning experience to each student. I began as a substitute teacher and fell in love with Mainspring. That's when I decided to become a full-time caregiver to this diverse community. I'm also now a parent and my son is being well taken care of and taught new things by wonderful teachers here at Mainspring. I'm so happy and comfortable with my son's care that I can give all my attention to my babies in class.

I have a passion for literacy and bringing books to life. Building a foundation for future readers is very rewarding for me. More than anything, I love the mission of our school.
